Eric Gray - Orchestra Director
Eric Gray grew up in Broward County, Florida.
Mr. Gray attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando where he advanced his studies on the viola with Dr. Ayako Yonetani.
After receiving his Associates in Music Education, Mr. Gray then transferred to the University of Miami, where he studied privately with Professor Pamela McConnell and earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education.
The Director celebrates the completion of his Masters in Education from Kennesaw State University.
Mr. Gray’s past teaching experiences include Poinciana Park Elementary School, Westminster Christian High School and Dr. Michael M. Krop High School.
While in Miami, Eric Gray was a member of the Miami Symphony and was a substitute member of the Miami Bach Society.
Over the past years, Mr. Gray continues building and improving the techniques of the string students at Pope, serves on various committees and teams to improve academic programs at Pope High School, and performs as a member of the Cobb Symphony Orchestra.
